Birth of A. A. Lala
Born on August20,1965, in Oyo Town, Adegbola Adedayo Lala is the firstborn of a Christian couple, Chief Benjamin Adebimpe Lala, a Land Surveyor, and Late Deaconess Patience Mogbadunola Lala, a dedicated teacher. His early years of education took him across various cities, starting in Oyo and continuing through Ibadan, Makurdi, and Mushin in Lagos, where he completed his primary education at St. Jude's Primary School.
Education
He gained admission into the prestigious Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo, where he completed both his secondary and higher school education in 1981 and 1983 respectively. Driven by a passion for science and technology, he proceeded to the University of Lagos to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics (Electronics Option) in 1987, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science in 1989. Furthering his leadership and business acumen, he obtained an MBA from the Lagos Business School (Pan-African University) in 2003.
Adegbola began his professional journey as a computer instructor at The Centre for Computer Literacy (TCCL) in Ojuelegba, Lagos. In 1990, he joined Chartered Bank as an IT Systems Analyst, marking the beginning of a rewarding 27-year career in banking industry. Rising through the ranks, he served in key roles, including Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Chartered Bank that later became IBTC Chartered Bank, and Stanbic IBTC Bank. He eventually retired as Deputy General Manager (DGM) in 2017. He was instrumental in integrating technology into banking operations and contributed significantly to digital transformation in the industry.
He further enhanced his global perspective by attending executive programs at top business schools including Wharton, Kellogg, and Stanford in the United States of America (USA). Today, he is the founder and CEO of Innovate Datacube Entity, an ICT services firm. He also serves as an executive member of the management team at Realcom Technologies Ltd and sits on the board of Syscodes Communications Ltd.
Family

A child of God, Adegbola has been an active member of Triumphant Baptist Church, Akowonjo, Lagos, since 1994. He is happily married to his sweetheart, Aderonke Ikeolu Lala (nee Ajadi), and they are blessed with four wonderful children. Those who know him describe him as a true gentleman, always smiling, helping others, and offering encouragement. He lives by the saying, "What is not enough today will be more than enough tomorrow through God's help.”

Grateful for the gift of life, he sees each new day as a divine blessing. In his leisure time, he enjoys cheering for Chelsea FC, follows lawn tennis a fan of legend Rafael Nadal, and makes regular visits to the cinema to watch movies. All glory to God Almighty
